Short History

The Shegari have not officially reached space travel on their own, instead adopting it after the Vacod accidentally crash landed on their planet. In the past few decades the two worked together to help better the quality of Shegari life as well as only a handful of Shegari deciding to explore beyond their planet. Their planet has become something of a tourist attraction, being located in a Binary Solar System.

Appearance

A serpentine race with varying sizes, on average being between 160 cm and 220 cm tall with a tail between 350cm to 540cm long, and weighing anywhere from 95KG to 390KG.

The body of the Shegari is covered in either fur or scales. The sole of their tail always has hardy set of scales going along the entire length of the tail close to the tip.

Biology

Shegari are able to see through smelling the air with their tounges, allowing them to not rely on their eyes if need be.

Most Shegari are born with pheromone sacs, which for them tends to be a rather unique identifier, similar to a finger print. These pheromones have developed to have a greater impact on other lifeform’s mental capabilities, often causing dizzyness, nausea or even obedience.

Typically Shegari are hatched in the dens of their homeworld where they spend the first few months of their life before they are able to leave the den. After leaving the den they are identified, given a name and reunite with their family, with a large majority not making it out of the den. After leaving the den their lives are rather normal, with their physiology determining most of the time the occupations they take, with there being some exceptions from time to time.
